Spectacular colours!
Churches as grand as this are magnificent.
The architecture is beyond words.
So hard to get the whole picture unless you
are using a super wide lens due to the immenseness.
I really love the shots and the candles are simple yet
effective too.
Nice work.Smile
Dale.

I just noticed…. If you click on the attachment links, the photos are much larger with better detail.

It’s funny, I’ve been living in Montreal for 40 years now, and I think I have been inside that church only once. I’ve walked around it a lot though, It is near Old Montreal and the Old Port, which are prime tourists venues.

These are very nice shots.

Thank you all for your feed back…I went to this church on a Christmas eve and it was bit crowded. I didn’t had any plans to visit this church, I had plans to visit to visit Old port in Montreal and this church was on the way. I thought of going inside the church to escape from the cold for a while.
I have visited many churches in Europe they were grand, however as NIKON GUY says this was “Magnificent”.
Shooting inside the church was also challenging, because it was indoors and has to shoot with the available light with slightly slower shutter speeds to get all the colors shown in the pictures. It was my luck to get the right settings. Wish i had taken my tripod on that day :)
@ Nikon guy : I used my Kit lenses to picture this..I didn’t use any wide angle lens. :)

Thanks
~Vinod~

I may have been wrong about the lens but I was definitely
right about them being beautiful images!
You have the right to be very proud of them.
Two thumbs way up on these.
