Thank you Mandrake.

I thought of leaving the branch from the scene and thought it would be better to add.

please see the unedited shot and comment.

Appreciated!!

To be honest, I prefer the unedited version as it appears much more natural.
I would straighten it a bit, add some contrast, and definitely remove the branch and broken stump.
I would also remove the white patch on the foreground rock.  It is bit distracting.

I’ve worked it and will post, if you wish.

I did not see that!  Jaydev is a sly fox.

or………… this is not truly the unedited original.
I am assuming an honest mistake.

I agree with Mandrake I like the unedited picture…

althought the edited one is good.. It is not natural…

Maybe if you use flash in the stem/branch more details will come out..

just saying..

anyway nice pictures.. and good editing..

Thank you.

Mandrake and chasmz,

really regret for attaching wrong unedited one. I did’t mean it. I only noticed when I see your message. Also I am not expert to to create ‘ripples’. ummm..may be some time in the future,  i may able to create.chinnar.jpg

here you go… the unedited one is attached.

mandrake, thank you to edit this picture. … waiting to see.

thanks guys.

I really like the vibrancy of the edited version while the unedited one

looks flat. That’s why we all love PS and Lightroom so much lol!

Dale.

I like both the shots (natural as well as edited one).

I would have hopped to the next rock in the front…

and captured the shot without the branch in it and the whole scenery!

Thanks for sharing..Jaydev.Smile

Thanks Sam.

I thought, without the branch, the shot would have looked ordinary and decided to keep the tree in the scene.

may be I am wrong in this situation.

thanks for your comment Sam.
