The first picture is a bit too abstract to my taste. It has an interesting composition, diagonal lines and DoF so. Looking at it you might wander who might be sitting on this bench.

The second picture is very nice. I love the diagonal line dividing the water and the grass. Blue and green compliment each other very well. Attention is driven to the boy, since focus is on him. I just wish that there was no pole right behind him.
