Ron, are you sure it was a jogger and that you don’t really see dead people???  Wink

Actually, the jogger was a rather attractive young woman.
I wonder if this was a glimpse into her future.

Here is the shot before cropping for further analysis.

Mandrake, you are getting very artsy! Cool image. A bit scary so. But it is a normal feeling. If we can’t figure out what or who something is, it frightens us.

Wow, I  think it’s amazing Ron! I’m always obsessed in trying to get everything as sharp as possible, and then you just present us with something completely out of focus… but at the same time very artistic! I love the result.

After getting comfortable with what your camera can do, it’s great to experiment.

Which is a lot :) I’m still in that learning process and sometimes frustrated for missing those moments, these perfect pictures, just because of forgetting some technical details…

I took a similar shot of my son Christmas morning… he likes it, I don’t… and I’m not really sure what I did to get the effect because he is in focusG-12252013.jpg

If I’m reading your metadata right, this is a manual mode, f/8, 10 sec. shot using compulsory flash.
I’m thinking that the long exposure, with some camera movement, combined with freezing due to the
flash have caused this effect.  I’m guessing that there was no tripod use.
Or…………. my ghosts have moved to your house.

Mandrake – I came back after taking some time off to clear my head of
too much time spent taking pictures. The rest was great and I’m looking
more forward than ever to posting some images and seeing what all of you
have been up to. I am having one hell of a time trying to figure out how to
get back into the easy exposure forums now. I did get an email from easy exposure
stating that some changes had been made. I wanted to post a pic and say hi
to everybody but I couldn’t seem to find out how to post the image. Any help would
be welcome as I do want to get back into it and start posting some more images soon.
Thanks for any suggestions…Dale

Welcome back, my friend.  We were about to send out a search party.
The posting procedure has not changed to my knowledge although I’ve been
recently unable to upload photos myself through the drag and drop method.
So….. I’ve been using the “upload attachments” then “add files”, selecting
the file, clicking “open”, and then “upload files, and finally, after the file has been
successfully uploaded, “submit reply”.

I really hope, I’ve remembered all of that.  Think so.

Just now I did have trouble getting into this text box, but finally did after
several tries….. Sooooo all is not going smoothly at the moment, which
may be part of your problem…  Give it a go.

I think the changes that Oksana was mentioning has to do with the new
VIP assignments.  It’s a whole other thing, but shouldn’t affect regular posting.

Dale, Mandrake. We had some issues with server yesterday. Maybe that is why website was kind of slow and you could not post pictures. The process of posting didn’t change, Dale.

I think I’m getting back into it now – I blame my problems on old age
and stupidity lol!
Mandrake – This is one of the weirdest pictures I have ever seen!!!
Looks like Mother Theresa has made a post death appearance as a
participant in a marathon or something!
Totally freaky.
Cool shot though.
Dale.

You are right, Dale. I was thinking that it reminds me somebody, but could not figure out who. Now I know :)

a little help…if you know what I mean lol.
Look up now and you’ll get it.

I read the other day that 25% of Americans believe that God plays a factor in the outcome
of any given football game.  I would think that he has better things to do with his time.

I think you could argue that from a Biblical standpoint as God will work all things (good or bad) for His good…  I’m sure I could easily find some verses to support this…
