Last fall, when I just started to learn about how to get out of the sports mode, I met and hired a sideline photographer to photograph my son at one of his lacrosse games.  He’s not only become a friend, but also a kind of a mentor.  I bought one of his older zoom lens, 80-400mm, and he gave me a few pointers.  He liked my photos and asked me to cover some of the girls’s games, since he was too busy with the boys.  I really didn’t feel I had enough experience, but he encouraged me and said they don’t move nearly as fast as the boys, lol.  So, I’m actually getting hired to take side line photos of girls lacrosse and cheerleaders.  Here are some:
