Hi,

Quick question.. Will there be a section in the forum on street photography?
Or will it be under the category Travel and Landscape?

Thanks!

Or maybe…………………….. Nature and Wildlife?

Good question, Norman.
I’m a bit surprised it hasn’t been asked before.

Yes, Silky… The forum is supposed to be divided by topic. Street Photography would be one of numerous topics.

I use the Chrome browser.
All I can say is for you to follow the instructions that I detailed.

One more time:
1. Click on the photo group in the forum you want such as “Portrait Photos”.
2. Click on “Add Topic” button at upper right.
3. Type in the Topic Name.
4. Write what you want in the big box.
5. Click on “Upload Attachments” button under the big box.
6. Click on “Add Files” button.
7. Select an image file from you computer directory and click on “Open”.
8. Click on “Start Upload” button.
9. Click on “Submit Topic” button.

I think Travel and landscape should be fine, or you want me to add separate section on Street photography?

You know Oksana, if you continue add features to forum it will be a disaster, in life all simple is better than complex.
In my opinion the forum shall has to section.Photo discution and gallery.
In Section Foto discution you upload or post to discution and critic for a week not matter the topic, then the photo pass to gallery which can be sudivide on topics as you want to add.

Travel and Landscape is fine.
Thanks for the clarification Oksana.
I just wanted to know where I should post my street photos for comments and critique.

Cheers!
Norman.

How many street photographers do we have? That may warrant a new sub-section.

Speaking of street photographers check out this lady, none of her work was seen until after her death which she gained quite a bit a fame for her work.

edit- And is there anything better than the look of film :-D

Yes… Thank you, Mike, for posting the link.
Vivian Maier had been previously undiscovered by me.

I grew up in both Queens and Manhattan at the time of these photos.
So many of her images are a step back in time.
It was truly a pleasure to revisit these places.
