Hello everyone
It’s been quite a while since I last visited the site although I do follow on Facebook. Just a little sharing of a product photo. I took it last weekend under a bright tropical sun on the balcony. I used The Nikor 50 mm 1.8G at f/2.8, ISO 100 at 1/3200 sec. Then I used NX2 software and played around a bit.
As always, I look forward to your comments and critics which I am sure, will help me to improve.
Meantime, keep well

I think it is a beautiful photo as well as the subject. Did you do selective color? I think it looks interesting with brownish sepia instead of traditional overdone B&W.
Hi there,
In fact in NX2 there is the step Photo Effect, I used the “Tinted” option and I played around a bit with the initial color of the photo. I then used the Minus Selection brush to make the color pop out. I used similar on the “leaves” of this candle holder. The 50 mm did great though
