Photos of art glass vase in natural light white backgroundvase001.jpgvase010.jpgvase011.jpg. Tripod mounted Canon T2i with EF 50mm f/2.5 lens set to ISO 100, f/16 @ 1.3 seconds. Clean up and cropping done in LR4.

Very sharp images with vibrant colours.

It’s nice to see the main subject not cluttered up with

a “busy”background.

I’m not crazy about the white backgrounds.  In the first photo the vase seems to be floating in air.
I’d like some steadying background to fix them in place.

I have to agree with Mandrake (that hurts lol) on the shadow or reflection.

The top picture is really cool but adding a reflection, or shadow would really

enhance the look of this image.

I’d have to read up on how to do it, but I think you can add a reflection in photoshop… anyone know the steps in doing this?

It all depends what this is for, but I have to agree that it might be better to keep the vase on the ground, lol. A slight shadow or reflection is used to do that. To get a reflection you can use while Plexiglas as a base. Be careful with unwanted reflection. 

 

Other then that it is well done. I like that you can see that vase is translusent.
