I like the second one better. Body position, facial expression, light on his face, the abstract concrete structure that give context and depth, the bokeh that blurs and embellish the otherwise ordinary and dull background. There is a sense of pride and forwardness to his expression that makes me want to hear what he has to say. Good job.

Jaydev
I agree with Brunogallant.
I like both the shots but the second one
is just a really good image and well composed.
Sorry to hear that you’re having autofocus problems with the
new lens. I had the same issue with a 35mm and it took over
6 weeks for repair and return. Hope you have better luck!
Anyways – Akshay is a handsome young man and his father
knows how to use a camera!
Dale.

Hi Jaydev,
I like both pictures. The first picture I like the colors. The green color is very pleasant and colorful. Good natural light. a bit of shadow on the face but that can be fix with a flash and a diffuser. If you don’t have a flash gun perhaps you could use a reflector (silver or gold, gold gives you warm feel) to bounce the natural light back at the model and diminish some the the face shadow.
Second photo, composition is good, you filled the frame well. Both photos have really good bokeh.
Love, Monkey

hi Dale,
Thanks for your comment. I just started my photography passion seriously . Learning from each and every advise from the forum and you all are my guides to shoot better pictures.
I sent my lens to Nikon service center, hope I will get it back soon. I am using my 35mm nikon lens for the time being.
