I’ve played a bit with this image which had been previously posted.
Here it’s converted to black and white with considerable blurring of the background.

Thanks… It is what I was trying to do.  The Gaussian blur did the trick.
Converting to black and white was an after thought.
I think I may have sharpened a bit too much.  One of my few faults.  lol.

Looks 100% times better! If you have distracting colorful background, turning image into black and white can often make it better. Blur helped as well.
