Wanted to see how a black and white image would
turn out after so many colour pics posted.

Thanks for comments Mandrake & Silky. I like the black and white effect of this
better than the original (color) version.

Thanks nuhjcom
I almost always rely on colours to “enhance” my photography BUT shades
of grey can be so much more dramatic if the subject fits the mood.
Not saying my post is any good but I really am starting to like the effect that
muting or eliminating the colours can produce given the proper subject.
Very little of the above image is in focus apart from a couple of areas in the
immediate foreground. To accentuate the soft tones I thought the “soft” appearance
of the majority of the photograph worked quite well.

Dale… I found myself hunting for which leaf was in focus.
Perhaps a bit more dof would be better.

Oksana… I finally figured out that I had to complete
a first grade math problem before I could submit
this reply. Are you SERIOUS ????

Oksana
I will work on the dof issue – looking forward to better weather as we are
getting a lot of rain now so I’m limited to indoor stuff.

LOL! Laugh It was a default settings of the forum! I know it is very difficult for you to go back to a first grade, so I will remove the math just for you!
Hopefully we will get no spam.
