The lighthouse is very much female. Most are male.
The green? Do you know it’s purpose?
Perhaps to identify which light it is.

I would have enjoyed the inclusion of the sea.
I assume there is a sea.

Sam
Did you use a long exposure?
Looks like star tracks to me.
By the way – I think the lighthouse
looks great and maybe my eyes are
bad but from my view I can’t make out
the gender lol!
Green – small amount of lens flare?
Dale.

Dale…. You can’t tell that is a GIRL lighthouse?????
Look at it’s shape.
I’m in love.

(properties say 213 sec. Would stars move that much in that time?)

Mandrake
I think later I might be taking a picture of a nice
tall drink after all this!
articulated screen, star movements, female lighthouse.
Dale.

Hi Mandrake and Dale,
you are right about female light house, now i am also thinking in that way. this is funny :) but because of 213 seconds exposure and city light this picture came out like this there is not photoshop or editing. I started notice one thing after using UV filter on my lens i can see more lens flare.
Thank you very much for appreciation and this thing keep me motivated to take good photographs.

The flare is probably caused by the filter. I like it in this case. I would have like to see a bigger version.

That is art Mandrake, distortion of reality.

Mandrake, I think it is time to find you a date. Send me your pics and info about yourself and I will announce on my YouTube channel that we are looking for a date for you. We don’t want you to get lighthouses in trouble. LOL Laugh
Maybe it is time to switch from photography to match making.Wink

Oksana…. The lighthouse may be quite upset, but I will certainly consider your very kind offer.
It has been too long. Perhaps it is time.

The transcript of an actual radio conversation between a US naval ship and Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October 1995. The Radio conversation was released by the Chief of Naval Operations on Oct. 10, 1995.

US Ship: Please divert your course 0.5 degrees to the south to avoid a collision.

CND reply: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision.

US Ship: This is the Captain of a US Navy Ship. I say again, divert your course.

CND reply: No. I say again, you divert YOUR course!

US Ship: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS CORAL SEA, WE ARE A LARGE WARSHIP OF THE US NAVY. DIVERT YOUR COURSE NOW!!

CND reply: This is a lighthouse. Your call.
