First try to shoot a Milky Way. Unfortunately, the city light pollution still visible even when we are on top of the mountain and far from the City.

OMG, This is amazing! i love everything about this image! Where I leave, we can barely see any start ever. Where is it? Do you have snow in the summer?

Not to mention the light pollution needed to light the snow and the guardian.

Can you give us more information on what you did to obtain this pic?

Hello Oksana. This picture was taken last Saturday night, around 11pm at Artist Point, Washington U.S.A.. It’s about 2hrs. drive from Vancouver, CAnada. There’s still snow in the mountains, but roads are clear. We are lucky that it was new moon that night and the sky is clear as well that’s why we have a clear view of the milky way. It was an awesome experience to finally get a shot of the Galaxy. :)

That’s true Mandrake 🙂 That light was coming from a flashlight which I ask my friend to turn On and turn OFF right away so that it won’t be too bright 🙂

Wow, thanks for the kind words Luis.

You don’t need a fancy DSLR to get this shot Luis, as long as you have a fast lens you should be good to go.
