Hoping this posts! I just wanted to post a couple of pics to see if
they appear correctly.
Will be very happy if they do.

Really like the first, Dale.
The water is unbelievably calm.
Not a ripple in sight.  Great shot.

I am glad you back, Dale. I can see you can post photos now. I agree with Mandrake! #1 is just wonderful. #2 has interesting brown color, where we would expect blue (because of the first image I guess). Is it due to the smog?

Thanks Guys – Great to be back! No smog in Victoria Oksana – lots of
early morning fog though at this time of the year and it can create some
vivid and strange colours using long exposure and different Kelvin settings.
I play around with Tungsten, Flourescant and others to see what gives a
pleasing look (at least to me anyways) Also manually adjust temp to “fine
tune” the look sometimes. I’m trying to figure out this VIP invitation – sounds
absolutely great but not sure if I’m in our out right now lol!
Any feedback is very welcome and thanks to anyone who can give me advice
on this matter.
Dale.

Thanks for the comment Ronald. Much appreciated. I recently bought a
Nikon d7100 and the sharpness is quite amazing – even with an 18-55mm kit lens!
As I’ve told the guys in our group – I’m lucky to be living in Victoria, British Columbia.
The scenery and climate here is really great for wandering around and taking pictures.
Winter (now) isn’t so nice due to a lot of rain, fog and wind but most of the year is
really great. To get pictures of a mirror flat ocean here you have to get up before sun up
and take a tripod and do long exposures. Seems like as soon as daylight approaches the
wind starts to pick up and the water starts to get choppy.
Can’t wait for summer and the fantastic colours that come with it!
Dale.

Must be an amazing place to live and by the way you talk about it I can tell that you love it there :) I’m a privileged person as well since I live and work in Brazil with all it’s fascinating nature, wildlife and people. It’s great to be inspired by the work of others and you really impressed me here with this image!
