No bad for a first try. I would probably use a bit longer shatter speed to make it a bit brighter, You can also try to shoot a bit earlier – maybe about 30 min after sunset ( the time when you still have some colors in the sky, but the city lights are already on). This way you get a better difinition between buildings and the sky.

Yes, sometimes the sky changes a lot, deppends on the day time and weather also. At the same time at night I shoted one with red sky and another day with blue dark, it’s a question of experimentation, pacience and sellection…
Beautifull city. I’d like to see more of those.
