These little guys really appreciate all the help they can get
at this time of the year. When snow is on the ground they will
land on the feeder while I am trying to put it back out on our balcony.

With an ISO of only 200, the light must have been good.
Nice shot with good bokeh, Dale.
Wish the wing could be more visible.

You are both right and I appreciate you pointing the wing (or lack of) out!
The feeder on our balcony is directly in front of a large cedar tree and yes the
lighting was pretty good but the relative darkness of the tree and angle of the
sun kept the wing details to a minimum.
I take no blame – it was my wife’s idea to place the feeder there and I told her there
would be a time when I would have to pay for her mistake and that day has come.
I will be moving the feeder shortly to achieve a better wing shot and if it results in divorce
proceedings I’ll be OK as long as I am given a chance to take the perfect WING shot lol.
Will keep you posted – Dale

Women!

My neighbor recently got divorced.
His not too bright lawyer resulted in him getting custody of his mother-in-law.

Why don’t you start take pictures of your wife instead to prevent divorce? Smile

The feeder stays where it is. I think I’ll just start taking pictures of big,
slow birds from now on!
