OK – you’ve made your point…the 55-300 is

a nice lens and sharp. I will definitely check it out

along with one or two others before I buy. Will go

to the camera store I always deal with and put a few

lenses on my camera, take a few shots with each and

then view the results on my computer. Doubt if it’s going

to be in the very near future though – according to Ann I’ve

limited out on toys and spending for a while
