I like the first more. For me, it tells a story of the top duck really pissing off the bottom duck with all his antics.
The purple water in the second is a bit much.

Norm.. It would be nice if you could give your basic camera settings with the photos.
I’ve found a good way to do this by having two windows open on your screen. One with the posting you are making and the second with the properties-details of the image file. There you will find all the camera details. Your first photo was 300mm, f/13, 1/250 sec., ISO-200. This gives other members of the forum a much better understanding of the photographic circumstances.

I do like the color of the duck in the second picture, but purple water is a bit too much for me as well. It kind of looks like somebody spilled some purple ink in there. Reminds we my school days, when we had to wright with ink pens and our hands were always purple from it, lol.
