Hello,

I took these on early June last year at the Starved Rock State Park near Utica, IL.  This park has 18 gorgeous canyons, we only had time to see 8.  The first two are of LaSalle canyon and the third is of French Canyon.

For this trip, I used my GX1 Panasonic Lumix (micro 4/3 thirds) with aperture set at F11 and with exposure 1/3 to 1/4 sec.

Thanks.

Great shoots! I actually like #2 with people. I like how you were able to keep them sharp, but still get blurry water effect.

I use to have Panasonic Lumix long long time ago and I loved that camera, till I lost it :( . And this is when I got my first DSLA as a present from the friend so I don’t cry, lol. And this is how everything started.

I like the second as well.  The people add some interest.  It does seem that they’re standing on some slippery ground.
Another few minutes may have resulted in a shot of them floating downstream.
