Fishing boats, a pirate welcoming tourists

aboard a fun filled excursion and a black

and white image to see how it worked.

Also a colourful tiger lily that are abundant

in Victoria at this time of the year.DSC_0426.jpgDSC_0395.jpgDSC_0409.jpgDSC_0411.jpgDSC_0512-3.jpgDSC_0486-2.jpg

Dale, all pictures are very sharp, I like these all.

I really stuck with the B&W one, what is that?

Thanks for the comments!

The b&w one is a cropped version of a type of

flowering plant that has yet to open. I decided

that it was worth a try to see what happened when

I transferred it to b&w in Lightroom and played around

with the tones.

I have one ready to print and frame (hopefully) that

turned out a lot better than the one I posted. At 72dpi

the resolution is OK to post but not good to print and frame lol!

I really like B&W image. There is something so artistic about it! I love all the lines and texture. Also DoF: the softness of background and sharpness of the subject.

Good job on other images as well. I think you are getting better and better! Practice makes perfect! Keep up a good work!

Nice set, Dale.  (I have to be careful who I say that to.)

Really liking the fourth.  Love shots of working boats.
Here, It looks like a tight squeeze  to the channel.

Re the third:  “CFV Only” sign.
I figure it means only non-commercial vessels to this side
but I don’t know what the CF stands for.  Do you?
