Nice pics!

The lizard looks a little menacing with the brightly coloured head.

The bird doesn’t look too friendly either.

Great focus on all the shots.

DAle.

praveen… They all look a bit overexposed.
Reducing exposure by 1/2 stop brings them about right, in my opinion.

Are these out of camera?  If so you might try taking some shots with some
negative compensation to see if it works for you.

What picture control setting are you using?
They look a little flat.  Maybe you might play with that as well.

I’m not meaning to be critical, just helpful.

Hi Mandrake,

Greatly welcome any comment that I could use to  better my skills. After all its the sole purpose of posting here at this forum…Thank you for your time and effort in the evaluation. :)

Yes. The shots are unedited and I totally agree that they are a bit over exposed. I used Sunny as my white balance setting with spot metering for the eyes and heads.Do the colours look flat/boring ? Should have balanced in Lightroom I guess

Praveen..

Looking at birds like that make me a firm believer that birds really
are descended from dinosaurs.
That thing is only missing teeth and two small front arms. Scary!
