Silky
1st pic would probably benefit from a little highlighting to shadow areas in post processing.
2nd pic is pleasing but I would have tried to set camera to capture a more shallow depth
of field as background distracts from main subject.
Your name is still quite large in the first pic but better in the 2nd one.
Depth of field can dramatically alter the outcome of a photograph by guiding the eye to the
part of the image the photographer is trying to capture as the main subject.
Just my opinion on the subject. Dale

Usually when I take a picture I am mainly interested in one thing above everything else.
That tree stump in your second picture is really interesting with the old bark etc. but it would
really stand out if the rest of the foliage etc. behind it were soft focussed or blurred. You could
then do some post processing and make the main object(s) even more interesting through different
lighting or shadows or whatever. The best person to ask about taking great pictures is Oksana.
She is a professional and understands more about photography than the rest of us put together!
Good luck with it…Dale

I learn from everyone too! I look forward to criticism of my pics as well as good comments.
I recently joined a camera club and am going to learn all I can from the seasoned photographers
that are both long term members and incredibly talented at the art of photography.
