Sights around Victoria include going south

by air, looking for whales, and walking dogs.

The dog to me is by far the winner of the

No doubt, the dog wins by a nose.  I like the white vignetting.

My fondness for the sea makes Springtide Tours a winner as well.
Not to mention that the boat is a trawler.  If there is a next, it will be a trawler.
I find it strange with the benches placed on the foredeck.  Must be a fun, but windy ride.

That was a great dog. I usually dont use vignetting on

pics (or very sparingly) if I do but this dog looked like a

good subject to add a little white to. At this time of year

there is a steady stream of boats of all sized going out looking

for whales and other sea life near Victoria. Whale watching operators

make a ton of money taking people out for a couple of hours and

letting them see the marine life! Personally, I still like the dog – I’ve

seen too many damned killer whales when I was sport fishing for salmon.

They would come in and the salmon were gone until the whales decided

to move on.
