Sunshine and warm weather here in Victoria. Rest
of Canada still having a tough time so hope that changes
soon!
Took this pic of a duck that really had a bad landing – think
it must have found some fermented grain and had a little too much lol!DSC_2413.jpgDSC_2395.jpgIMG_1434.jpg

Nice bloomers, Dale. I prefer white and black, but pink and yellow are nice too.

The duck…. reminds me of Daffy.
My first thought, before reading your text, was that it was his Saturday night bath.
The crash landing is much more dramatic.

A thought…. do they ever land on land. This would have been one dead duck.

It is a little known fact that the reason we call them ‘duck’ is that they were the only animal that didn’t when there was a snowball fight in what became known as Medicine Hat, Alberta in the cold autumn of 1845.

I may or may not have made that up.

Brian… close, but no cigar.

The word “duck” comes from the way a duck looks when he ducks into the water when feeding.

I may or may not have made that up.

I really like the second shot… the yellow with black background really looks good.

I like the second shot too…its very sharp as well as adequately vibrant and the first one is also pretty with good composition as well as colour.
And i think the third one would be good if you posted it in the other post where you have posted the motion freeze of a duck’s face!Smile
