We are all, undoubtedly, much too jealous of your time in the Dominican.  The water is most inviting.

The ship is fascinating.  Have you researched it’s demise? 

And the two yellow objects?  Flotsam and jetsam?

heheh No we can’t go there.. at least not alone it’s too far.. and probably dangerous, lots of waves crashing on it..

Those 2 yellow thongs are the boundary of the bathing area..

Beautiful shots – why the hell don’t we have beaches

like that up here in Canada???

Really good excuse though to load up the family and

head for a tropical destination for a while lol!

The ship is the scuttled Russian freighter, Astron.

.

A bit more background including a photo of the ship as she was.

The ship has interesting bow bollards.  I do not recall ever seeing the triple bit set configuration before.
