First 2 were taken while walking around one of our parks.

The second pic shows a full grown tree growing out of an

old stump – weird site! #’s 3 & 4 were taken on a very windy

day. The seaplanes had a tough time getting airborne but no

accidents reported! Pic #5 shows one of our interesting statues

in Sidney. Don’t know what it represents?

Last pic is an artsy representation of a jellyfish taken at the

Discovery Center in Sidney.DSC_9828-3.jpgDSC_9833-2.jpgIMG_2039-2.jpgIMG_2123.jpgDSC_9736.jpgDSC_9651.jpg

1.  Reminds me a bit of Central Park in NY.

2.  My next door neighbor did the same thing.  Planted a tree in an old stump.  Dumb idea.  Dumb neighbor.

3 & 4.  Strong winds and small planes do not mix.  When taking flying lessons, I once saw a small plane unable to land against the wind because of the lift.

5. It represents………… seduction. Laugh

6. Jellyfish… Not my favorite animals.

Nice set, Dale.

Mandrake

Thanks for the thoughts.

Small planes and high winds don’t mix. A few have

tipped over in the harbour during rough weather.

So, the statue represents seduction. Will have to take

a better look at it next time I’m in Sidney. Just looked like

a strange sculpture that could use a bit of soap and water

to clean it to me! The tree growing from the stump is pretty

amazing – it’s a damned big tree and a lot of pics have been taken

of it. Not too many people put jellyfish high on their list of really cool

animals but they are fairly interesting to watch moving about in the tank

they’re housed in.

Dale.

I like the first and the last shot…

In the first shot, i appreciate the angle..but i think ..

(I would shoot only the bridge from the front side of it)

Nevertheless…the shot you took also is nice…
