Josh
The 18-55 kit lens is great! Lightweight, tack sharp and
inexpensive – what a deal!!!
I have to pick one up and have some fun with it.
Great close-ups by the way.
Dale.

I’m Using Octopus Extension Tube btw…All 3 Tube 1 = 9mm,Tube 2 = 16mm,Tube 3 = 30mm…Its an alternative allright other then buying this dedicated Macro lense that was a lot more expensive…

Thanks for the information, Josh.
I’ll do a bit more research and decide what to do.

Do you have autofokus option on these tubes? I have some that is manual and they are a bit tricky to use with a newer lens.. You have to set the apature manually with some paper….. like i said, tricky..

Okay sam…Both of the images i’v using..
1/8 sec
ISO 3200
55mm…..
make sure ur zoom & focus ring is on max…In that case instead of adjusting ur fucusing ring to get the focus,u’ll need to move ur whole camera back n forth..I suggest using self timer n tripod to do it…U can’t afford to hv any vibrations…Good luck..
