 I am not sure if these count as macro photos, but they are as “macro” as my lens gets. Went shopping today and came across these lilies. Could not resist their beauty and ended up buying six plants. Such gorgeous flowers. Planted them this afternoon and snapped a couple pics. I hope you enjoy. As always, if you have any constructive criticism please share, I am always looking to better my photography.

Gorgeous flowers! I really like the color combination of orange flowers and blue background. I have yellow and orange lilies in my yard. They are about to bloom as well.

i like the colour, however there is lack of sharpness/focus.

That was my thought too. I was using auto focus. I may have just not had a steady hand when I snapped the shots.

Not bad, the framing is nice and the color is outstanding. As the photo is taken in the macro mode then it would have been better with the focus. Did you use auto focus?, or manually clicked and adjusted the photo?. Overall the outlook is nice.

I totally agree with you, the focus is not very good but I would say the framing is wonderful.
