They work pretty well, but its a hit or miss situation. Even tho I have auto focus extension tubes Its still pretty much impossible to get the subject focused automatically, I just do it manually which is a big challenge considering the subject is so small (this particular pine brach actually is about the size of your pinky nail), so multiple shots is a must. Also the more extension tubes you stack the more stops of light you loose, so unless you shoot in bright day probably have to bump the ISO pretty high to get proper exposure. I also have a micro reverse ring that I use sometimes.
