I am still a beginner in photography and particularly so when it comes to macro photography. Here i experimented with my 50 mm F 1.8 lens mounted at the back of  68 mm extension tubes to focus inches away from the dew drop in a cactus plant in my apartment balcony.

F 22 and 2.5 secs ISO 100 tripod mounted

Rama
I think these are lovely macro shots of the water droplets and if you’re just a “beginner” using a 50mm f1.8
coupled with 68mm extension tubes to further focus…look out photographers as you advance from beginner
to experienced to professional.

Rama….
Did you intentionally capture the man made objects which live within the dew?
I find building parts, perhaps a window, a door, and a bit of cloth.  Is it satin?

Mandrake,

Yes. I was looking for reflection

but could not control what gets reflected. Due to refraction everything gets inverted any way and glass doors don’t help. I had a foam yoga mat which you have guessed right. In the first image I was trying to hold a white flower just behind the drop. You can see this but it is hard to recognize

Rama
We all have a lot to thank Oksana for. I have watched every one of her tutorials several times
and truly believe that she is the most informative and easy to listen to person on the internet.
If your pictures are a reflection of her videos then you have learned well and she has done a
great job of teaching.
Nice shots!
Dale.
