Of my wife. Using natural rim lighting. Used a small umbrella with flash in it for fill also.
Love the rim light. I might turn her just slightly to the right to kip it just on the hair and not on the face and have the flash just a little stronger, but it is just my preference.Â

Yes, i know, but i had to actually go to the right with my camera to be in the shade and avoid terrible lens flare. Otherwise, the purely backlit rim is what i was intending to begin with.
The sun was coming from her right as you see, but i had to get into the shaded from a nearby building. When the sun is very low like that it’s almost impossible to avoid lens flare if you want a solid rim.
