I was walking through a very small town of Le Muy in the south of France when these three kids out of natural curiosity were watching as I past by. Instinct took over and I took a picture without having a chance to look at the settings, but amazingly it came out right.
Canon 450d
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
Aperture f/4
ISO 200
Exposure 1/200th second
No flash fired

Glenn72 , excelent picture , I like a lot instant photos , a pity you crop and the arm of child was cut , perhaps was a narrow strret and you don’t have option.
Very good even for magazine.

Obvious siblings. The little one has interests other than the photographer.
I love the texture of the building and wonder of the purpose of the ring.
I absently clicked on the image only to find that it is a link to the flickr file.
A practice that I’ve recently taken.
There it can easily be expanded to much higher resolution.
May I suggest, Glen, that you note this in the post.

Hi Silky,
Yes it’s a bit of a shame that the boy had his armed streched out and up close with a 50mm lens it was cut iff from the photo.
This photo was taken almost instantly so not much time to frame it correctly.
Thanks Mandrake I will note in future posts to click on the photo to redirect to flickr for higher resolution.

Hi Glenn72 and mandrake, Glenn72 after see the French Riviera in Nice, France in flicker I understand why French feel crazy when visite South Beach in USA or Varadero in Cuba, men the texture of the sand in french Riviera is a shame or for gigant.
