Good news first…no cancer! woo hoo. The growth was benign. Healing nicely and stitches are out.
Next the Voigtlander is in the shop getting fixed so the Roll-A-Week project is on hold. So I got my Pentax Spotmatic SP500 and some expired TMAX 400 film (developed in Ilford ID-11). All of these are using a 135mm lens.

We are so happy for you Brian! I knew everything will be ok!
Please take care of yourself: eat well, exercise and be happy. 😉Julianna is a little supermodel! Did she come up with all these poses?
I coached her on a few poses, but the ‘lizard pose’, the ‘walk like an egyptian pose’ and ‘blowing a kiss pose’ are all her.
So the ‘wound’ is healing up very nicely. The stitches are out, it is nicely scabbed over (itchy as heck though), but no pain anymore except getting into and out of the car. The doctor is pretty confident that there will be almost no scarring, but that really isn’t a concern for me.
The problem with the Voigtlander apparently is that the counter which shows what shot you are on wasn’t completely connected inside, so it would move around. Problem is that when you then turn the knob after taking a shot you think you have full wound to the next frame, you actually haven’t because the counter itself moved. The repair fella said it was a pretty easy fix, he would give it a good cleaning too. Should only cost about 60$ which I am more than pleased about.
Good news all around.
And I watched Oksana’s new video on ND filters. Learned lots and might try to make some ‘ghost’ shots for some fun. I recommend it to everyone.

Looking forward to see them! Also you can move your subject from one spot in the frame to another during exposure. This way there will be 2 ghosts.
