These pictures was taken last night during our National Day Parade Rehearsal, I realised that the buildings and Stages are blurry, I believe it was due to the strong wind even though I have use tripod. Can anyone advise me how to improve in this area.

Great pictures! It is a nice place to photograph fireworks. Love all the colorful light and reflections in the water. It is hard for me to see the blue, due to the size of the image. But if you think that you got a blurry buildings due to the wind, my advise would be to use more heavy tripod. Also did you use a cable release or a timer? You can also get a camera shake just by pressing the shutter button with your finger.

My Camera Sony HX100V does not have the cable release feature, usually I set 2 sec timer for long exposure. Thanks for your advice, I will get a more stable tripod for fireworks shooting next time.

Hi intekhab07/nikonguy, thanks for your liking of my pics. I guess it is just a little luck for taking the shots as it is difficult to know when and where (the height) they will appear on the sky. I remember when my first shot didn’t turn up well immediately I have to quickly change the setting before the firework finish it’s performance, it was very exciting plus panic. On the whole it was very chanllenging. Nikonguy, I have seen your photos, they are very well taken and I am very very sure that you can take better than mine.
