David Busch’s books on the Nikon cameras are top notch. I had on for the D60 that was an excellent reference and guide for the camera. He really went into great detail on the camera features and functions. I recently bought his book on the D7000 and found this one to be a lot less helpful. While he still went into great detail on the features and functions of the camera he, or his staff, did not do a very good job proofreading it. There are a lot of errors so be prepared to make changes in the book as needed.

Hello Michael.
I do not own the 600, but have been thinking about it.
If you own the camera, I would appreciate your thoughts on it.

Don’t know of a good book offhand but I have watched
several videos on Youtube that recommend this camera
highly.
If you buy one – congratulations! If it was within my budget
I would definitely put it high on my want list.
