1. For this assignment you will have to take and post 10 photos, which have the following composition rules in them:
– Rule of Thirds
– Symmetry
– Balancing Elements
– Background Simplicity
– Patterns
– Depth
– Framing
– Shallow DoF
– Reflections
– Horizon Positioning
You will notice that some of the pictures will have several photography rules in them. Try to cover as many the rules as possible with all photos.
2. Post your photos to this forum, by creating a new topic. Don’t post your photo as a reply to the topic somebody else created. You can only comment on their assignment.
3. The other users should post in the comments, which rules they see in your pictures.
4. Also don’t forget to post what camera and lens you used and what were your exposure settings (Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO).

Creative Assignment (Water):

1. Water covers 71% of the Earth’s surface and is very important part of our life, with out which we would not be able to survive. This is why this creative assignment is about water.
2. Still water, moving water, muddy water, water in the glass, in the tab, in the lake…. Whatever water you chose to photograph. Of course you can have other items in the image, but make sure that water in important part of the image.
3. You can post up to 6 images, just make sure that each of them represent different scene, instead of just being different angles of the same one.
