Think central position of subject is appropriate for photo message.

First is best, IMHO.

Interesting ideas in both images. I also like the first one more. I feel like in second one is a bit to much vignetting to my taste. 
Thank you very much for sharing. This shows how can you get totally different look and feel from the same location in post processing.

Amazing editing. I am really amazed with the quality and the output of the photo. Both the photo has outstanding results. They does not seem to look like they have been taken at the same time. The edit made them really unique from each other. Well done, you should start your own youtube channel and teach people how did you came up with these brilliant ideas.
