It looks like one of those old movies…. the scene where a nuclear bomb has just been detonated.
Cut to everything bending over with people and rooftops flying through the now radioactive air.

Do crowds of people in Santa Monica usually wait at “Don’t-Walk” signs even though there is no traffic?
Or…. Are la policia there to make sure they don’t?

They actually do, Mandrake. As you can see there is a police car there. Police is everywhere. I actually got a long lecture from police one time in LAX for crossing in a wrong place. Luckily no ticket.

I like your take on the photo by the way.
