For God's sake Mandrake...I think it would have been less work to jack up one side of
the old fountain and put some shims under it to give it the straight look lol!!!
Thanks for all the effort and the explanation. You did an admirable fix on it and I will be
making notes to use for future reference when and if required.
Dale.

I think I did post this pic a while back before distortion correction. Could be wrong so
I'll look and see if I can find the original.

I found this post with the third image depicting the same building, but no fountain.
Some Victorian (is that what you people are called???) must have swiped it.

I know you didn't ask how I fixed it, but I'm gonna tell you anyway...
I tried the Liquify Tool in PSE (the Ps Warp Tool equivalent) with no success.
So I selected and cut the fountain.

I then pasted it to a new document and corrected it's shape with the eraser and clone stamp tools.
Then I copied all of that file and pasted it back to the original which had the blank cutout in it.
Finally, I had to clone some building around the now somewhat smaller fountain.

The whole thing took about an hour... but, as you know, I have lots of time.

I watched Oksanas tutorial on fixing distortion using Photoshop - #10 and a really
well done and informative presentation.
I got one of my many distorted images and attempted to turn the "leaning tower of Pizza"
into a lovely symmetrical masterpiece.
Well - the majority of lines turned out alright but the fountain in the foreground is really
looking bad - as you can easily see!
I used the warp tool as instructed but didn't have much luck with it so I'm wondering if
its me scewing up (pardon the pun) or if objects such as this one are better left like they are.
Comments appreciated.
