Oksana - always look forward to your comments. Thank you. I would love a wide angle lens but my
budget says no at the moment so a video on getting more in a photo would be great. Thank you for
the video on front/back focusing issues with lenses. After watching that I adjusted my lenses and the
result was sharper images on both the 35mm and 18-55mm. Really appreciate all the work you put into
educating us on how to become better photographers. Hope you continue to do so for a long time.
Merry Christmas...Dale

Love #2. Great composition and colors. Nice reflection and leading lines.

In #1 I kind of want a wider angle. I will make a video on how to get more in your photo without wide angle lens and ability to step back.

Thanks Mandrake - always appreciate your comments. I tested the focusing on the 18-55 lens (cheap but sharp kit)
and found out that it was front focusing so I did an adjustment and it appears that the images are sharper now - but
I'll have to do some serious shots with a tripod and remote release to see if I got it right. I'm going to test my 35mm
and see if it has any front or back focusing issues. Right now I'm just enjoying what the d7100 can do and trying to figure
out how to take advantage of the upgrades it offers over my (R.I.P. old friend) d7000.
I'll try and get some new night shots with the adjustments I just made (if the damned temperature rises above freezing!).
Will also get some day shots to see how they look after the focus adjustment.

Winter is just around the corner and the rich, warm colours of summer are being replaced
by the cool blues of winter. NO oil spots on sensor of d7100 woohoo!!!
Those spots used to drive me crazy having to remove all of them in post processing!
I really want some better quality glass now though to take advantage of the camera's capabilities.
