Don't know the year of the Cobra - they were Carroll Shelby's creation of course
and were produced (in low quantities) in the 60's. Most Cobras on the streets are
replicas because you need DEEP pockets to afford an original.
Either way though it's a beautiful looking automobile that will turn a lot of heads
cruising around on a sunny afternoon!

I think this is the only one on the island. Of course there are Porsche and Ferrari, but nothing beats this Shelby in my opinion.

Really nice images and well focused. The last two have fantastic colour saturation
and the umbrellas were a really cool idea by someone to shade the area and hopefully
offer a little cooler conditions to the event.

Thank you. Yes the colors were great on that day but there was too much light too. Here is another photo, that made me dream. I wish I had a car and .. a boat like that too..

Hi .. I live on the tropical island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and that's where the place is located. In fact it is named Caudan waterfront.

It is always sunny here, so I guess someone had the brightest idea to put the umbrellas this way.

I like the umbrella picture as well... even better in black and white! I may have adjusted that crooked pole in the foreground, but that is the only criticism...

Ah the crooked pole. That's the one they move in order to let the cars in

Thank you Mandrake. Yes I was quite surprised too. Oh the umbrellas, they served two purposes, one to provide shade and second as decoration. It was 37 Degrees Celcius on that day !!. I will post two originals just to give you an idea of it really was, on that day. Oh I forgot to mention that the exhibition was from the 13th to the 15th February (Valentine's day). You can see the hearts hanging.

For the umbrellas, the shutter speed was 1/50 sec while for the dragster it was 1/6 sec.
