Do you use musk to do this?

Yes i used layers and masks. I recently learned that you can use a gradient tool to make the transition gradual and more natural.

I took these snaps in Early April on a rainy day when the sky was dull and miserable . Replaced the sky with early summer sky in photoshop but can't get rid of the halo around the interface between the mountains and sky. Am i missing a trick ?
