I thank you all for your comments. The first shot was taken at a distance and at the time I did not realize that my grandson was in the picture. It was taken more to show the interaction of the coaches with the very young team.

The helmet could be cloned away, but it wold take considerable effort. If any wish to try the link above the first photo will take you to the full resolution file. And yes, the grass is not real. It is Astro Turf and I assume installed at considerable cost.

Mandrake

1. I can't really see that the first picture was about your grandson receives motivation from one of the coaches, since there are way too many other things around it in focus. The composition doesn't bring me to your grandson either. When I just looked at the picture, I thought that it is more about the coach with the ball. This is where my eyes go. Also out of focus helmet at the frond of the picture is distracting.

2. I definitely like the second photo more. The grass color don't really bother me. It looks like it was what color for real.

How many coaches do you need for 6year olds ? ... LOL
I coached Aussie Rules Football from U5's to U17's where there are 18 players and 4 reserves for U12 up.
Only one coach me ... LOL

Anyway, I like both shots and the 2nd is my favourite. That does not look like real grass in the second pic, correct me if I'm wrong Mandrake, therefore, most likely it is not a real Grassy green anyway. As far as I am concerned, this being the case then it is a great pic mate.

Ian ....
