Last image is definitely sharper than the first one. I've taken the exact same image<br />
more than once many times and seen small differences in them...don't know why but it<br />
just happens sometimes.<br />

<p>No, the relief on the china is soft.<br />
 The image is as the eye sees it.<br />
 If you look at the gold leaf edging, that is relatively sharp.</p>
<p>The shot is at f/16, tripod mounted and timed delayed shutter release.<br />
 So it had better be in focus.</p>
