Whatever you're doing is working really well!
I've always loved the sharpness on my 35mm lens
and it looks like you're getting some amazing results
with it.
Colour, color - what the hell...I think I'll just call it tint from
no on lol!!!
By the way, the candle looks great centered.
If I was to draw lines pertaining to the rule of thirds on this
picture I would find that you have important aspects of this
image off center so you are using the rule of thirds to a degree.
Long and the short of it - Nice shot! Muneer is right - damn...Muneer redlined!
Dale.

Dale... I've begun to use manual focus in greatly magnified live view when on a tripod.
The articulated screen is really great for this. One of the reasons I'm holding back on the 7100.

There was considerable post processing with this shot.
It was taken in full daylight and I darkened the background.
I'm waiting for comments re the lack of rule of thirds composition, but I do like the candle centered.

Strange about the spell check.
With me colour is red lined and color is not.
Here, we are using the same spellchecker.
Perhaps it depends on where you live.
If so... that's impressive.

Another tack sharp image and
the light from the candle isn't blown
out either.
Great shot and vivid colors!
Dale.
By the way - the word colors is red
lined as being spelled incorrectly but
I will leave it for those who choose to
have it appear without the "u" after the "o".
Dale.
