The 7100 is a fine camera. Quite possibly the best DX camera currently on the market.
Your photo is a great example of it's (and your) ability to create lovely images.

Let me compliment you on a fine choice for a camera!
I too use a Nikon D7100 and have never regretted my choice.
The picture is very touching and conveys the feeling of unity
between two people.
If they both wear wedding bands I probably would have asked
that they hold hands in such a way that both were visible to further
establish the bond between them.
You illustrate here that you know how to bring meaning to a situation
by simply focusing on what is important to the viewer - great start to photography
and welcome to our forum!

Hello,

I'm new to photography and recently bought myself a Nikon D7100. Boy is there a lot to learn. I'm also self teaching myself Lightroom. Just wondering what you all think of this photo I took of my dad and step mother when I was down to see them last? Thanks for all your comments and/or feedback.
