You are right - they did manipulate pictures in the old days.
I have talked about Ansel Adams and he was one of the
great manipulators of photographs.
But old photos look so natural and untouched and I guess
that's what I like about them. I have been saturated lately
with HDR and over saturation of colours and everything else
that we are now able to do in post processing.

She is for certain he used German paper. I believe I have a photograph of his camera somewhere. I will have to dig really hard.

I really love looking at old pictures. What came out of the camera
was the image we saw and not a made up interpretation of what
