That would get you really close to the action).  If landscapes, I would recommend a tripod, backpack, and a polarizing and ND filters.  If portraits, then some light boxes/flash and tripod, then a portrait prime lens...  I don't take a lot of portraits so I don't have a flash or any light boxes... I have a D600 with an 85m prime and the 28-300 zoom.  I have a benro travel angel tripod, a tamerac evolution bag and some Lee ND filters.  I can give you reviews on any of those...
