Oksana... If the camera that you are using for an important shoot has dual SD slots, I'm pretty sure that you could set so that each shot is recorded on both cards.  Perhaps good insurance.  

For my professional work I am using Camera with dual SD. It is very good idea Mandrake!
 The card which failed was in my Nikon D5300, which is my take around camera for hikes and not so important things, when I don't feel like caring something heavy and can just through it in my back pack . Luckily the images on failed SD were just form the hike and not so important. But it was my first time when my card failed and the most weird thing was what one image was actually ok. So I decided to post it to see if someone had the same issue and how did they resolved it.

But it recovered by authorized person. After that I use 8 GB SD CARD and the same does not use more than 8 months.

I can't open any photos except one. So weird. Luckily those were just some photos from the hike, so I am not too worried about them, but still weird how it happened and why one photo is still ok. Anyone had this before? Any suggestions on recovering it?
