I found a site that a Ken Rothwell runs that describes in detail all Nikon Lenses and others. His advice enabled me to gather more info from youtube and other reputable ares on the Web. I have varying degrees of success and failure with this lense as I am a Newbie at this game and am practicing, practicing and oh yes practicing all the time. LOL maybe oned ay I will get the hang of it, especially with Oksana's help.

Very lightweight. VR is a plus. It is only for DX body, but probably if you ever have FX body, you might want a different lens anyway. Auto focus is not that fast in this lens so. Sharpness is good. For landscapes you will be lucking a wide angle range under 55mm, unless you have another lens in wide angle range (like 18-55mm, which often come with camera).
